Contractors for Equal Opportunity
Contractors for Equal Opportunity (CEO) is a nationwide voluntary membership association of companies that have been negatively impacted by discrimination in in local, state, and federal contracting programs, such as the federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and similar versions at the state and local levels.
Whether governments use the phrase “Affirmative Action,” “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion,” or just “Supplier Diversity,” these programs all illegally discriminate based on race and/or gender. CEO members have experienced discrimination, higher costs, and/or lost business because of these programs. CEO members can be either prime contractors or subcontractors.
To advance the interests of CEO members, CEO may become a party in one or more lawsuits, or party to civil-rights complaints filed with the appropriate agencies, with the goal of ending all discriminatory contracting programs. There is no cost to become a member of CEO, and membership in CEO is 100% voluntary.
CEO is represented pro bono by attorneys at the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty. We keep our members as confidential as they want to be, so they do not fear repercussions from their government.
